Why the name Tolk?¶
In the Scandinavian languages, tolk means "interpreter": the one who brings two worlds into conversation.
This idea is at the very heart of Tolk's design: letting your AI tools communicate naturally with your Cisco UC infrastructure.

About the Author¶
Pierre SOURDEAU is a seasoned Cisco Unified Communications expert with over 15 years of experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale enterprise collaboration infrastructures. He holds some of the most advanced Cisco certifications in the collaboration and DevNet tracks.
Passionate about bridging the gap between traditional UC engineering and modern AI capabilities, Pierre created Tolk for Cisco UC to empower administrators with intelligent, secure, and auditable automation.
